udChalo was formed in 2012 to provide an unmatched travel experience to our soldiers, who are always on the move. Complicated sites and high fares made flying for our real heroes nearly impossible. The idea of 'Making Life Simpler for Our Soldiers' took place on September 14, 2012, and since then we have been continuously working towards the same idea with pride and gratitude.
We have not only made travel more convenient for our Soldiers, but we have also provided numerous other viable services such as assistance on filling ITR, easy bill payments, offers on branded electronic gadgets and trusted housing.
Our Journey
2012
14th Sep - udChalo started its remarkable journey of “Making Life Simpler for Soldiers”
First logo was designed on October 9.
2013
Established connection with SpiceJet and Go Air.
2014
Jet Airways and udChalo jointly started first time defence fares in India in May.
Established first Booking office at Selection Center South Bangalore to help returning candidates on June 28.
2015
udChalo.com went live with 9W fares.
Flew first one lakh passengers in year 2015 within one year of start of operation.
Set up of Booking Offices at Uri and
B.E.G – Pune
Letter of commendation from Commandant SCS Bangalore on 16 Dec.
2016
Over 20 Booking Offices established pan India engaging Ex-Defence personnel, Veer Nari’s & dependents.
​Launched Education scholarship with Army Institute of Technology – Pune
2017
Paraplegic Rehabilitation Centre (PRC) Pune became a part of the udChalo family.
Helped Army Soldiers stuck in floods at North East when trains were cancelled.
2018
​Established the highest altitude booking office at the height of 13,000 ft. in Leh.
​12 Oct: udChalo became a 100 people organisation
2019
Launched service vertical for Bus, Cab & Hotel.
​Won ‘Travel startup of the year 2019’ by Entrepreneur India.
Immediate Refund to soldiers impacted due to Jet airway crisis.
We offered free cancellation to all impacted customers during Pulwama attack.
2020
​Started providing Train Ticket Booking & Tax Filing services.
Flew over 15 lacs passengers in 2020.
Registered name in Guinness Book of Records for 3 world records on 12 Oct.
2021
Entered into Electronics with Samsung & Utility Bill Payment vertical.
Introducing Utkarsh Program
Formed the Advisory Board with Lt. Gen. R.R. Nimborhkar, SM
The Param Vir Chakra Awardee, Subedar Major, and Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav joined our Advisory Board.

Scholarship for EWS students of SSS launched by Hon’ble RRM.
2022
Ventured into Housing Sector to come up with affordable homes solutions for our Soldiers.
